BloodSTOP® iX Advanced Hemostat with WoundHEAL® is a next-generation, advanced hemostatic and wound healing matrix used by hospital and other medical professionals. It is 100% natural, fully biocompatible—derived from etherified sodium carboxymethyl cellulose—so will not irritate wounds. Upon contact with blood and exudates, BloodSTOP iX quickly activates the intrinsic coagulation cascade, accelerating clot formation and forming a protective layer that creates a natural moist environment to promote healing. The woven matrix transforms into a transparent gel which adheres to any wound and can be continually monitored without disrupting blood clotting.
