BloodSTOP iX Trauma Matrix Stops Femoral Artery Bleeding
A preclinical study analyzed the effectiveness of BloodSTOP iX Trauma Matrix in stopping arterial hemorrhage. The study design was based on a standard U.S. military battlefield extremity wound model. BloodSTOP iX achieved a 100% survival rate in the extremity arterial hemorrhage and showed significantly shorter times to hemostasis when compared to the Combat Gauze control group.

BloodSTOP iX Trauma Matrix Instruction Video
Instructions for Use
1. Pack BloodSTOP iX into topical wound with direct pressure using dry or gloved hand. (More than one BloodSTOP iX may be required).
2. Cover and apply direct pressure on wound for about 2-3 minutes, until bleeding has stopped.
3. Wrap to maintain pressure. Evacuate patient to definitive care. Keep product package with patient.
4. To remove, moisten BloodSTOP iX with sterile saline and irrigate. Swab gel gently, without disturbing clot(s).
